The creator aims to show the target audience to inspire them and encourage them to help people who are in need, that small actions can make big differences and go a long way, and that by helping someone, the ones you help may be able to pay it forward and help someone who they believe is in need of help. “Be Remarkable”, which is the words left to the creators by the student artist at the end of the documentary, and it does not take much to be your own type of remarkable and live a life that you will remember.
DOKYU HIRAYA
Dokyu Hiraya featured Overflowph, a non profit organization led by students of Far Eastern University that aims to help people in need. The founders of the organization called for help by posting to different social media platforms so that other people that want to donate can see the details of where it will be used.
The main purpose of this documentary is to serve as an inspiration to help despite having limited resources. Moreover, with the organization’s dedication to aid, they were able to collect charity from various donors and kept transparent all throughout the process. The students, who also faced challenges financially, managed to deliver relief goods to an Aeta Community Tribe in Porac, Pampanga.
Along the process were challenges that the organization overcame. Once there was hesitation because of the limitations caused by the pandemic and the lack of the assurance of the success of the project. However, what’s stored in the organizers was the desire to help which led them to create more opportunities that made the project successful.
